Travel destination: Eagle Lake
The whole rental process went well. The owner went out of his way to assure comfort and the Campanda rep was prompt with responses to inquiries. As it was the owners first rental we had some suggestions such as a loose leaf with instructions for various components. The ad said it slept 4, as the table/convert was a twin size not sure where the 4th would sleep unless they were both small children. Didn't matter as there were only 2 adults in our party, but might be misleading.
Your adventure starts here! Four Winds CC26BE - Super smooth and clean class C.

Two TVs with DVD players, very comfortable full-size bed and the dining table converts into a twin bed. Microwave with convection oven, super spacious shower and vanity with lots of storage cabinets.

Included with every rental:
  • Towels
  • Linens
  • Chairs
  • Games; boards and cards - great for kids and adults!
  • Water bottles in the fridge
  • Kitchen supplies; pots, pans, cutlery, plates
Please let me know if I can answer any questions for you.

Let your adventure begin!

RV rental in Reno

Reno is a popular place to rent an RV. It is close to California but also well positioned if you count on crossing the Rockies. Avoid hotels when in the desert and check out an RV rental in Reno, NV. The temperatures can get pretty high in the the summers, but if you’ve lived through a cold winter, a Reno summer in an RV might be exactly what you need.

Reno, NV: The smallest big city in the world

You might have already decided to book an RV rental in Reno from Campanda, but here is a little bit of extra information about the city in case you are not quite sure you want to go there. Reno was founded in the 19th century during the gold and silver rush. Aside from a good deposit of silver, Reno was in a great location to connect Virginia City to the California trail. Soon after establishing a railway a population quickly grew around it to service passers by and tradesmen. Today, it’s Nevada’s second largest city in terms of population, 233,000 people based on a 2015 estimate. It is the bridge between northern California and the desert so it benefits from a unique culture that is neither coastal neither desert oriented. Here is a list of popular events and destinations to look into when you find your RV rental in Reno, NV.

  • Lake Tahoe is the second deepest lake in the United States. There are many activities available to people who travel to lake Tahoe: water sports, skiing and snowboarding, just to name a few. In summer people take their RV rentals in Reno to Lake Tahoe for all sorts of hiking and trekking activities.
  • Reno Air Races host the United States’ fastest yearly motorsport competition. An RV rental in Reno is perhaps a great option to watch avid flyers rushing through an air course. One pilot is deemed champion at the end of the one-day event. There has been multiple incidents of pilots crashing their planes however, so park your motorhome rental there at your own risk.
  • The Sierra Nevada if you haven’t heard of them, they are a series of mountains that span from California to Nevada, they contain the country’s largest peak at 14,500 feet, Mount Whitney. It’s a good idea not to drive up this mountain with your RV rental in Reno. Just cruise through the Sierra Nevada and enjoy what makes Reno and the surrounding areas in Nevada special.

RV parks in Reno Nevada

Ok so you might want to take a couple of days off the road and hook your RV to fresh water and and an electricity source. Here are the options available to park your RV rental in Reno.

  • Reno RV park is fairly priced, but isn’t very known as a friendly place for RV rentals Reno. Many renters have also complained about the bad internet quality. However if you’re looking to be close to the heart of Reno, then it’s a good option.
  • RV park at GSR is a nice park, although it’s a little far from the heart of Reno. The good news is that your RV will be in the middle of the Nevada desert. This park is known for having some above average internet and some very friendly staff. There is also a Wal-Mart across the street.
  • Shamrock RV park is older than RV park at GSR. It also is favorite among old-time RVers. If sanitation is your priority, this park is known for having some extremely clean terrain and showers and this is apparent in their reviews over and over again.

Types of RVs

C Class RVs are good for friends and small families while A & B Class RVs are good for larger families that need more space. Also don’t forget to check the driver’s license requirements with your local DMV. Depending on who issued your license you might not be eligible to drive B or A Class RVs.

Send us an inquiry to find out why thousands of campers trust Campanda to deliver them the best camping experience possible

If you want to take a look at different areas in the vicinity, start by taking a look at our vehicles in Las Vegas, Sacramento or in the entire state of Nevada.
